Terms and Conditions for Chef’s Mesa
By placing an order or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Chef’s Mesa specializes in creating custom charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and artisanal spreads for events, gatherings, and personal enjoyment. Our products feature a curated selection of high-quality meats, cheeses, and accompaniments.
Due to the perishable nature of our ingredients, all sales are final—we do not accept returns, cancellations, order modifications, refunds, credits, or transfers of any kind. All payments are non-refundable.
Orders & Payment
2.1 Order Placement: Orders may be placed through our website or by contacting us directly. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
2.2 Payment Terms: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with final payment due 10 days before the event. We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods, processed through secure gateways.
2.3 Order Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent upon order placement, detailing order specifics, including pickup or delivery times.
Grazing Table Setup
3.1 Delivery: We offer delivery within specified areas. Fees may apply, and delivery times will be confirmed at the time of order. We are not responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances or incorrect addresses.
3.2 Pickup: If you choose pickup, your order will be available at the agreed time and location. Orders must be collected within the specified timeframe.
3.3 Setup Requirements: Clients must provide a flat, stable surface for the grazing table. Chef’s Mesa is not responsible for table or linen rentals.
3.4 Equipment Rental: All boards, platters, stands, and displayware are rentals and must be returned in the condition they were provided. Missing or damaged items will incur a replacement fee.
3.5 Pickup & Cleanup: Equipment pickup will be arranged within 24 hours after the event. Cleanup of food and tableware is the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement. After this period, all payments are non-refundable.
4.2 Refunds: No refunds, order modifications, or credits will be issued for any reason beyond the 24-hour cancellation window. Orders not picked up at the agreed time are considered forfeited.
Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
5.1 Allergy Information: Customers must inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of ordering. While we take precautions, cross-contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
5.2 Custom Requests: We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs but cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
Changes & Substitutions
6.1 Product Substitutions: Due to availability, some ingredients may be substituted with similar items of equal or higher value.
6.2 Menu Changes: We reserve the right to adjust menu offerings and pricing without prior notice.
Food Safety & Liability & Responsibility
7.1 Food Safety: It is the customer’s responsibility to properly store and serve perishable food. Grazing tables are designed for immediate enjoyment and should be consumed within 2 hours of setup. Chef’s Mesa is not responsible for food safety after the setup is completed.
7.2 Outdoor Setup: For outdoor events, clients must provide shade, covering, or temperature-controlled conditions to ensure food safety. Chef’s Mesa reserves the right to modify or decline setup if conditions are deemed unsafe for perishable food.
7.3 Limitation of Liability: Chef’s Mesa is not liable for any damages arising from the consumption or use of our products or services, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Social Media & Marketing
8.1. Content Sharing: We may share photos and content related to our products and services on social media. If you share or tag Chef's Mesa in your posts, you grant us permission to use and repost that content on our social media accounts and website.
8.2. User-Generated Content: Any user-generated content shared on our social media pages or tagged with our official hashtags may be used by Chef's Mesa for promotional purposes. If you wish to have your content removed, please contact us directly.
